Born in 1961 in New York City, I was raised in the Bronx, but lived most of my life in Southern California. I've been married for 28 years and have two children. My art is primarily the result of my need to paint and is both a challenge and a cathartic outlet.

I do not confine myself to one medium in art. My latest passion has been working with watercolors. I read this quote that holds true for most artists: “When you buy something from an artist, you're buying more than an object, you're buying hundreds of hours of errors and experimentation. You're buying years of frustration and moments of pure joy. You're not buying one thing, you're buying a piece of a heart, a piece of the soul, a piece of someone else's life.”
